Refunds and cancellations
Refund and cancellation policy.
Last updated: July 4, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to Priyasanchari paid travel planning, route design, accompaniment, wellness reset, destination research, and editorial consulting services when a written quote, invoice, or service agreement refers to it.
2. Before payment
No confirmed service slot, travel companionship duty, emergency support, booking obligation, or deliverable exists until Priyasanchari confirms the scope in writing and the agreed payment or deposit is received.
3. Client cancellation
- Cancellation before work starts: eligible for refund of the unused amount, after deducting any payment gateway charges, bank charges, or non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred.
- Cancellation after research, planning, calls, documents, field work, accompaniment, or other service work starts: fees may be retained in proportion to work completed and costs committed.
- No-show, non-response, or failure to provide required information may be treated as client cancellation after reasonable follow-up.
- Any stricter or more generous cancellation window in the signed service agreement or invoice will prevail for that engagement.
4. Priyasanchari cancellation
If Priyasanchari cancels a paid service before delivery for availability, health, safety, legal, operational, or suitability reasons, the client will receive either a reschedule option or refund of the undelivered portion, subject to already-incurred third-party and government charges that cannot be recovered.
5. Safety-led changes
Travel conditions can change quickly. Priyasanchari may recommend postponement, route change, remote-only support, or cancellation if safety, legality, visa status, transport, weather, health, local restrictions, harassment risk, civil unrest, or traveller readiness makes the original plan unsuitable. A safety-led change is not a guarantee that all supplier or government costs are refundable.
6. Third-party bookings
Flights, hotels, retreats, transport providers, guides, visa processors, insurers, medical providers, event operators, and other suppliers are independent. Their refund rules, penalties, taxes, exchange rates, and timelines apply separately. Priyasanchari does not guarantee third-party refunds unless this is expressly written into a specific agreement.
7. GST documents for refunds
If an invoice was issued and GST treatment requires correction, Priyasanchari may issue a GST credit note where applicable. If an advance was received and no invoice was issued, a refund voucher may be used where applicable. Final treatment depends on the transaction record and GST law in force at the time.
8. Refund timing
Accepted refunds are normally initiated within 7 to 14 working days after approval and receipt of accurate payment details. Bank, card, gateway, foreign exchange, or platform timelines can add time outside Priyasanchari control.
9. Consumer fairness
Priyasanchari aims not to impose one-sided cancellation charges. If a cancellation fee is applied to a client, the policy should be applied fairly and should reflect real work, reserved time, committed costs, supplier penalties, or documented loss.
10. Disputes
Raise refund concerns at info@priyasanchari.in with your invoice number, payment proof, service agreement, and reason for cancellation. Priyasanchari will review the record, respond in writing, and attempt practical resolution before escalation.
